AV Support Engineer Job Vacancy
Established in 2006, Digital Vision are a growing digital signage and video conferencing solutions business based in Hertfordshire. We have an AV Support Engineer job vacancy which will bring technical support in-house and support the expansion of the business.
Experienced in installation, pre-sales and post-sales support, the successful candidate will be the initial point of contact for both internal and external customers. We offer a wide range of projects and a fun, friendly and flexible environment with opportunity for increased responsibility and/or specialisation as the company grows. Responsibilities include site surveys, advising on technical solutions, installation (includes bang & hang), set up and testing of equipment at client sites, and resolving technical problems by video, phone and email.

Roles and responsibilities
Provide pre- and post-sales support internally and to customers.
Support for AV products and IT network-based products that include, AV over IP and VIA Collaboration technologies.
Pre-sales includes product demonstrations, both remote and onsite and can include system design, and schematics, therefore experience in this area would be an advantage.
Participate in ongoing training and certification programs to increasingly add to knowledge base and ability to support all the company’s product range
General Requirements
Applicants must have the full right to work in the UK, be a car owner-driver with a clean driving licence and be able to commute to Central London and the Northern Home Counties.
Must have a good spread of analogue and digital AV, UC and IT system functionality, installation processes and techniques
Able to read and understand project technical documents including engineering and architectural drawings, schedules, test reports, or commissioning documents
Analytical and problem-solving skills
First and Second fix experience would be an advantage.
Disciplined and well-organised, self-motivated and willing to work flexibly and independently to deadlines
Able to communicate effectively with clients and members of staff
